At the start of my career in video production, I worked for a business show on ABC called BusinessNow, which profiled companies and executives on the cutting edge of technology and digital media. For several years, I enjoyed doing freelance shooting and editing for news, documentaries, fundraising videos, and independent projects such as music videos and short feature films from a home-base in Washington, D.C. In 2006, lured by the pace of a busy news bureau in New York City, I joined French Public TV to work as a video journalist until its closure in August 2009.
